File Management: How to Move Files and Folders Using File Manager

1. Log into your Control Panel.
2. Go to File Manager.
3. Click on the directory that contains the files/folders you want to move or copy.
4. Check the box for each item you want to move or copy.
5. Click  Move or  Copy.
   
6. Type in the directory you want to move or copy the items into.
7. Click Move/Copy.
   

Important: Moving or copying a file into the same directory they originate from will have no effect.
