SSL Certificate: Installation Steps

 
  1. Log in to your Control Panel.
  2. On the upper section of the screen, hover your mouse over Additional Tools.  
  3. Click on SSL. 
    Under Additional Tools, click SSL
  4. Click on the Get Started Now button. 
    Click on Get Started Now
  5. Choose which SSL Certificate to purchase.

  6. Review the payment details and click the Checkout button.

  7. You will get to the confirmation page saying that your account will be set up shortly.
  8. Click the Control Panel link to continue.

Applying an SSL Certificate credit to a Domain Name
  1. Click the Choose Your Plan button to select the SSL Certificate credit you want to apply to the domain name.

  2. Click the Next button.

  3. Click on Apply Credit.

Pending Installation
After selecting the domain name and the plan options available for the SSL Certificate, you will see the pending installation screen. You will receive an email to confirm or update your contact information at the account administrative email address.

After Installation
After the usual wait period of 30 minutes to 4 hours (positive SSL) or 7-10 Days (EV SSL), you will see the date of the expiration of the SSL Certificate and will be able to manage the certificate from the dashboard in your Control Panel.

Note: For a third-party SSL certificate, it is only available to VPS and a dedicated server. Please contact our customer service for installation.
